Nextcare improves access to healthcare in the Middle East by partnering with HUAWEI Petal Search Engine
Nextcare and global tech leader HUAWEI have completed the integration of Nextcare’s doctor appointment booking solution (Healthigo) into the HUAWEI Petal Search Engine.
Available to everyone across the Middle East & Africa (MEA) region, even patients outside the Nextcare network, users will be able to find healthcare provider information and book appointments through their Huawei mobile devices.
The latest move in Nextcare’s ecosystem strategy to transform access to healthcare through a global digital-first approach, managed by integrating with the HUAWEI Petal Search platform to take patient convenience to the next level.
Petal Search covers more than 170 countries, supporting over 70 languages and connecting with over 3,000 ecosystem partners. This represents a vast potential for Nextcare partner hospitals, medical centers, clinics and doctors, connecting them to patients in search of healthcare services.
More than 6,000 approved healthcare providers across the MEA Nextcare network will be searchable on HUAWEI Petal Search as part of a phased regional rollout. The UAE is the first market to go live with 1,200 providers offering the click-to-book doctor appointment feature.

Irrespective of their health insurance provider, HUAWEI Petal Search users can easily locate a provider to book an appointment. The embedded Huawei map link provides navigation directions to the selected medical facility.
