By accessing Nextcare ’s digital platforms (Website, Portals, Apps, Social media …) you accept this “Privacy Notice”. Nextcare means Nextcare Claims Management LLC and any affiliate, subsidiaries or any entity controlling, controlled by or under common control with Nextcare. Nextcare is an indirect subsidiary of Allianz Partners SAS, a Third Party Administrator (TPA) duly licensed to provide specialized integrated management and technology solutions in the field of health insurance management and administration.

Accordingly, Nextcare has developed this statement to describe how and what type of data will be collected and /or Used from users and the purpose for which Nextcare may Use such data. This Privacy Notice applies to the personal data collected and Used by Nextcare. Nextcare also outlines reasonable precautions which are taken to keep your data secure.
A data controller is a natural, legal person, public authority, agency or other body which, alone or jointly with others who control and determine the purposes (the “why”) and essential elements of the means (the “how”) of the processing of personal data.
A Data Processor is a natural or legal person which processes personal data on behalf of a Data Controller.

When you visit Nextcare’s digital platforms, our web server automatically records details about your visit (for example, your IP address, the type of browser software used, Nextcare’s digital platforms pages that you actually visit including the date and the duration of your visit).
In addition, we will collect and Use various types of the personal data including but not limited to full name, gender, contact details (address, e-mail address, phone/fax number), age / date of birth, nationality, marital status, occupation, language, physical and psychological health conditions, medical reports, death certificates, medical claims history, details of physical and psychological health or medical conditions, credit/debit card and bank account details).
We receive your personal data from you directly or from any third party including but not limited to employer, policy sponsor, brokers, business partners, insurers, medical providers, fraud prevention agencies, investigators, regulators, search information providers, intermediaries or delegated authorities.
We will use your personal data with your express consent unless applicable laws and regulations do not require us to obtain your express consent.

In case you are insured by Orient Insurance PJSC under the suite of Allianz Care Designed Products, kindly note that your anonymized personal data will be processed outside of the UAE for plan administration purposes, specifically for the purposes of reporting, pricing and reserving.
Kindly note that unless you expressly instruct us otherwise, you will be taken to have agreed to the processing mentioned above.

When acting as Data Controller, we will retain your personal data such as (your IP address, the type of browser software used, Nextcare Digital platforms pages that you actually visit including the date and the duration of your visit) for Ten 10 years from the receipt of your data or for any longer term required by the applicable Laws.

Nextcare has implemented reasonable technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal data collected by Nextcare via the Nextcare Digital platforms against unauthorized access, misuse, loss or destruction.
All electronic messages sent to and from Nextcare are protected by reasonable technical and organizational measures and may only be accessed in justified cases in line with applicable laws and regulations (e.g. court order, suspicion of criminal conduct, violation of regulatory obligations,) to specific persons in defined functions (e.g. Legal, Compliance, Risk). Every step of the process, as well as the search criteria used, are logged in an audit trail. All emails are disposed of after the applicable retention period has expired.
The Internet is generally not regarded as a secure environment, and information sent via the Internet (such as to or from the Nextcare Digital platforms or via electronic message) may be accessed by unauthorized third parties, potentially leading to disclosures, changes in content or technical failures. Even if both sender and receiver are located in the same country, information sent via the Internet may be transmitted across international borders and be forwarded to a country with a lower data protection level than exists in your country of residence.

The Nextcare digital platforms use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the digital platforms analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the digital platforms will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States.
In case IP-anonymization is activated on this digital platforms, your IP address will be truncated within the area of Member States of the European Union or other parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases the whole IP address will be first transferred to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. The IP-anonymization is active on these digital platforms. Google will use this information on behalf of the operator of the digital platforms for the purpose of evaluating your use of the digital platforms, compiling reports on digital platforms activity for digital platforms operators and providing them other services relating to digital platforms activity and internet usage. The IP-address, which your Browser conveys within the scope of Google Analytics, will not be associated with any other data held by Google. Nextcare Digital platforms uses the following Social Media Plugins (“Plugins”):

If you interact with the Plugin, for example by clicking the “Facebook Button”, the “+1” the “Tweet Button” or the “LinkedIn Share Button” the corresponding information is transmitted from your browser directly to the Operator and stored by it. Further, the information will be made public in the respective social network or in your Twitter account and shown to your contacts.
